Tommies push unbeaten streak to 10
Tessa Trettel scored the game's only goal in the 52nd minute as host Tommie Women's Soccer finished off a 1-0 MIAC win over St. Catherine on a cold Wednesday afternoon at South Field.
St. Thomas (13-2-2 overall, 8-1-1 MIAC) remained in a first-place tie with Augsburg with one game to play in the regular season. The Toms secured a first-round playoff bye and will host a semifinal playoff game next Wednesday.
Kate Heimer and Callie Haertle had the assists for the Purple, who pushed their unbeaten streak to 10 (8-0-2) and their home unbeaten streak to 22.
